From 1996 to 2005 Eric worked as a Human Resources Advisor for Safeway Inc. He was responsible for investigating hundreds of claims of harassment and or discrimination, as well as complaints related to unsafe work practices. Eric also conducted training for managers and employees on harassment law, the ADA, management style, diversity, and the investigatory process. He joined Owen-Dunn Insurance Services in 2005 to assist clients with Risk Management, Company Safety programs, and Human Resource issues that have the potential to cause embarrassment and great financial loss to client companies.
Eric will provide you with understanding on how to navigate California anti-harassment laws through stories from the front lines. He firmly believes owners are in control if they are proactive. He wants to remind employers that they direct their companies and should manage problem employees before they become a legal problem. You can train performance, but not personality.
