Elease Terry

Director of Finance
MarketOne Builders

Elease Terry brings over 25 years of accounting experience to the construction industry. She started her career at Mark Diversified, Inc., continued to grow with various jobs at other companies in the area, ultimately working her way to the Otto Construction team in 2009 as Vice President of Finance. Elease graduated from National University with a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.

Elease most recently joined the team of MarketOne Builders.  As Director of Finance, Elease will provide both operational and financial support to their leadership. As a key member of management, she works closely with the team to drive growth and profitability, as well as improve on short and long term goals that outline the corporation’s financial position, opportunities and risks based on past, present and future operations.

While Elease took her first CFMA accounting basics class from Linda Clifford in 1991, she has been most active in the chapter over the past several years.  She is currently chapter Immediate Past President, and in her tenure as President, she played a vital role in the successful restructuring and progression of the chapter.  She is currently Chair of the upcoming 2019 CFMA Regional Conference as well.  Her passion for the promotion and education of CFM’s throughout the industry is evident in her efforts on behalf of the chapter.

She is also very involved as Treasurer and Board Member of Sisters of Nia, an organization that seeks to empower socially and economically disadvantaged adolescent girls by providing cultural and education programs designed to instill strong social skills, leadership and academics.

In 2005 she and her wonderful husband of 24 years, Darol, joined Sacramento County Foster Parents Association, which focuses on providing support systems for foster and adoptive parents, to provide a home to foster children with special needs.  They later adopted a little girl.

Together, Elease and Darol are raising their two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Mia (20 and 17).  They are very active in cheering on the girls at their cross country and track meets.  While most people know her love for shopping, many may be surprised to learn she also plays the piano and is a big fan of “I Love Lucy.”
