Claudia Chambers is co-owner and president of Kelley Erosion Control, Inc. a female-owned small business enterprise construction firm recognized throughout Nevada/California region for quality, competency, integrity and innovation for over 35 years. Claudia serves as chief estimator, office manager and project manager.
KEC specializes in erosion control, revegetation, wetland mitigation, stream channel stabilization, hydroseeding, soil preparation and amendments, planting/plant establishment (short and longterm), dust control and soil stabilization. KEC has received many awards for both erosion control and stream restoration projects in various industry-related categories. Claudia Chambers is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control and a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP).
Claudia Chambers served on the board for the International Erosion Control Association in 2006 and 2007 as the Technical Vice President. She also served on the Finance Committee, Soil Fund Committee, Editorial Review Board, Technology Section Committee, Standards and Practices Committee and the Professional Development Committee. Claudia served for many years on the originating board for the Western Chapter of The International Erosion Control Association. Kym Kelley (business partner) and Claudia Chambers were both just honored in February 2019 at the annual International Erosion Control conference for IECA Outstanding Professional Award 2019.
